Carla Barresi

Carla is 26, born and raised in Maryland. Her passions include fitness, food, and fashion. Fresh oysters with a ton of Old Bay and cocktail sauce are the way to her heart because after all, there's no decent seafood without Old Bay (it's a Maryland thing). Her favorite desserts are Berger cookies which are also a MD staple and a must-buy. She was involved in various service and community-oriented work throughout her upbringing which played a major role in her life -  from volunteering at homeless shelters, to cleaning the nuns convent during recess in elementary school. She's thankful to be part of the Bitter Grace family and community, and looks forward to being the best representation of #DoMoreBeMore #BitterGrace.

Danielle Nixon

Danielle is a true Maryland girt at heart. She enjoys the  beach, eating crabs, and the Ravens! Food is her passion. She became a Bitter Grace Ambassador because she believes in Anne Marie's mission to inspire women to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Sayeh Saidi

Sayeh is a DMV native and proud Persian American, like every other Persian girl she is often referred as a Persian Princess by her friends. She is a healthcare analyst. Her passion is study epidemiology, she would like to improve emergency preparedness efforts on a national and global level in addition to assessing both the short- and long- term impacts of natural disasters on population health. She is a national volunteer for Phi Sigma Sigma inc., through her volunteerism with collegians and her time as a Teaching Assistant in graduate school, she hopes to gain her Doctorate and become a professor to encourage more women to pursue careers in STEM. When she is not geeking out over public health, she is often traveling, paddle boarding, hanging out with her big Persian family, or trying to convince her boyfriend to buy her a dog or a hedgehog. In Fall 2016, she moved from Chicago back to D.C. to be closer to her family. Over the past couple of years, she found herself loathing the fact that she lives in D.C. and she felt a lack of connection to her city. She created her blog, Say Hey D.C., to help her discover the many beauties of D.C. Since starting her blog, she feels blessed to live in a city where you feel America’s heartbeat, she is constantly pushing herself out of her comfort zone and she has made so many valuable connections through her blog including meeting, Anne Marie and the other ambassadors. She is proud to be a Bitter Grace Brand Ambassador and wants to empower other women through this ambassador program.
